The Beginning of… I found a cat in the ditch. It was dead, obviously killed by hit and run driver. I took the cat and took it into the forest and left it there. In the spring time I remembered it and collected the bones. I put them into a cardboard box in order to use it someday.. Those bones, that cat, became "the Evoluutio". Evolution (1992) is an exhibition containing eight large (110cm x 110cm) b/W photocomposites. Out of a skeleton of a one cat I have made eight different animals, different levels of evolution. Figures are presented in two dimensional projections of animal skeletons.
